New cannabis facility at Melbourne Airport. A new cannabis facility at Melbourne Airport is set to become the biggest medical cannabis growing and processing site in Australia. In June, the Cann Group signed an agreement to lease a 5-hectare site within the 2500-hectare airport precinct.
The Cann Group is listed on the Australian stock exchange aiming to become the leader in the Australian medical cannabis industry. Partly owned by Aurora Cannabis in Canada it is one of the few Australian companies to receive a medical cannabis licence.
